The desktop app and the Office server both run on your own machines, and I never receive your drawings, markups or takeoff. For the drawings you handle, that covers a fair amount of what NIST SP 800-171 is asking about.
It won't make you compliant by itself. Nothing will. Compliance depends on how the whole shop handles the information, and software is one part of that. What I can give you is a straight answer about where the data goes, which is listed connection by connection here.
